Which mattress for osteo arthritis suffdrer
I have painful shoulders when lying down, should I go for memory foam?
Hi Ann,
Whilst I will always endeavour to provide a positive response to questions such as your's, it is not possible for me to provide a specific opinion at this stage without knowledge of your body weight(s). Having said that, memory foam can tend to overheat and also when trying to change position during sleep hours, it can feel like you are climbing out of a hole.
Bodyweight | Spring tension |
---|---|
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg | Medium (1.4mm) |
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards | Firm (1.6mm) |
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) | Soft (1.2mm) |
Natural Latex is very good with regard to pressure relief as it molds to your body shape and as it is natural, it is breathable and more responsive than memory foam. It is also less heat retentive as it does not require your body heat to make it work.
At this moment in time, we are not making our latex mattresses as we are unable to source the quality Latex that we require for our mattresses. However we do have a limited stock in our Outlet which may be suitable for you.
Please call our office on 0161 437 4419 with you weight details and preferred feel and we will be able to provide more specific guidance in respect of the most appropriate product for you.
I trust that this helps. Kind regards Julie
