Type of bed base

Thank you for your enquiry via our website.  There is no reason why you cannot use such a base with a pocket sprung mattress, however, please bear in mind that the level of support is likely to be more springy and not as supportive.  A sprung base will soften the overall feel of a mattress while a platform base will firm the springs up slightly.
