Need advice on best mattress

With your body weights, I would recommend a medium spring tension/feel. I note that you have not indicated a budget for the purchase and would suggest that you view the details of the Origins Pocket 1500, which has a standard medium feel, is upholstered with synthetic materials and can be used on your existing slatted base.

If your budget permits, please view the Artisan Naturals, Artisan Bespoke 004 or Artisan Bespoke, all of which can have the spring tension selected as medium and have natural upholstery.

If you intend to use your existing slatted base for any of our products, I would recommend that you place some form of barrier, usually in the form of thin (3-5mm) MDF, between the mattress and the base. This will provide the mattress with a uniform surface upon which to sit and prevent ridging occurring as a result of the mattress dipping into the gaps between the slats.
