What would be a good mattress?

We currently have a super king Dunlopillo mattress on top of a divan base. For the last few years I've been waking up with hip and shoulder pain and toss and turn a lot through the night. My husband is 5 ft 10 ins and weighs abut 12.5 stone and I'm 5 ft 8 ins and weigh 10.5 stone. I need to take the plunge and buy a new mattress but don't want to make another mistake. Any suggestions for a good mattress for us which doesn't cost the earth ( we are both retired) would be very much appreciated.
