From what you say we will avoid recommending any of our latex or hybrid foam mattresses and concentrate on the pocket sprung products. With your particular body weights we would suggest that a medium spring tension/feel is most appropriate.

There are a couple of mattresses, which think would suit your requirements and the first is the Origins Comfort 1000, which has a standard medium tension spring and softer man made upholstery layers to provide the comfort. The other is the Artisan Luxury, which can have the spring tension selected as soft, medium or firm and has softer natural upholstery layers. Both of these products are the softest in terms of overall feel in the upholstery layers and have a medium spring to provide the support for your body weights.

Either of these mattresses are suitable to be placed on top of a slatted base as long as the gaps between the slats do not exceed 3". If the gaps are larger than 3" we would advocate placing a barrier, usually thin (3-5mm) MDF over the slats to provide the mattress with a uniform surface upon which to sit and prevent ridging occurring as a result of the mattress dipping into the gaps between the slats.
