A sprung divan base will give any sprung mattress it's true feel, any other type of base slatted, sprung slats or solid platform base will give the very same mattress a firmer feel to the internal support of the mattress.

A good pocket sprung mattress should cut down most movement across the mattress, if someone is an extremely light sleeper and is disturbed easily then the most you can do to a mattress to cut down on all movement is to have a zip link mattress, where each mattress is then it's own entity with its own spring system.
