Advice on whether dual tension or zip link beds would be best.

If we were to buy one of your beds would it be possible to get 2 different firmness of mattress, as my wife prefers hers firmer than me?

Both split spring tension and zip and link mattresses are only available in our Artisan range in King Size and above. Spring tension is based solely on an individuals body weight to give the correct level of support.

It would not be possible to have two different upholstery layers only two different spring tensions. If for instance, your wife's body weight required a soft spring tension and you a medium, then a medium spring tension would, in fact, feel firmer for your wife than yourself. If you both require a medium spring tension then a compromise would have to be made between you both in terms of which upholstery layers would be most suitable.
You do not say what your prefered feel is only that your wife prefers hers firmer so I am unable to say which model would be most suitable. I would also need to know both your body weights and sleeping habits in order to be more specific.
