Access questions for superking mattress

A customer asked

hi there, Just trying to work out if both of us being 12.5 stone or under means we need a lower number of springs. We want a superking size (we checked with you a few months back about the height of our stairwell being 74 inches and you'd said the mattresses would bend enough to get through) double-sided mattress. My husband prefers something firm and supportive as he's the one with the bad back. What would you recommend?

thanks Jaya .

Hi Jaya,

Thank you for your enquiry on our website.  The advice used to be if you had any type of back problems you should get a firmer mattress but that is no longer the case.  You need the correct spring tension for your body weight and the upholstery is then based on your personal preferences and sleeping habits.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

The width of a Super King Size mattress is 72 inches so you should have access but do you have many 90 degree angles to get the mattress to the room of your choice?  Both the Origins and Artisan ranges do not bend, mainly due to the amount (GSM - grams per square meter) of fillings we put in them.

We would need to know your preferences and sleeping habits to be able to recommend a suitable mattress for you both.

Please contact the office on 0161 437 4419 with this information where one of our friendly team will be happy to help.  Our office hours are 8 am - 8 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am - 4 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Kind Regards
Michaela
