A customer asked

Help on choosing the right mattress?
- 130 Kgs
- 187 cm
- Two main ways of sleeping: on the right hand side side and on the back
- When sleeping on the back : back pain sacro-illiac joint (RHS)
- When sleeping on the side: Shoulder pain and shoulder blade (Rhomboid) pain
- The mattress will be used on an electrical bed. This is important.
- room temperature is hot but sleeping with air conditioner all year
I was considering to buy a Tempur 22 cm (Sensation Deluxe Mattress) I understood that there is 21 cm which is based on the original mattress and 1 cm of soft padding
I am presently sleeping on a Simmons Beuuty rest I believe with springs/" title="pocket spring">pocket spring and a soft padding at the top.
So I was looking for your advice to buy probably some type of memory foam / latex type of mattress. Or a combination of that.
Do I go hybrid?
I was looking at your heavy sleepers mattresses but I am a bit scared that the 5 cm latex or 7.5 cm laygel topper would not provide sufficient cushioning.
What do you think?
If I buy your resilience mattresses and an additional topper. Can I swap the top when need be?
What I try to increase either the latex or laygel size to provide additional cushion?

I just wrote a previous post about heavy sleeper.
I forgot to mention that I am also willing to purchase the Bespoke 002.
What I am scared of is not to have enough cushion. And this is why I am considering latex /memory foam.
Which is best in your opinion.
Finally, can you use electrical bedding with any of your mattresses, included pocket springs?

Hi Alex,

We only have 2 mattresses in our range that are suitable to be used on an electric bed, these are the Fusion 5 and Fusion 6.
It would be the Fusion 5 model for user 2, which will offer a medium feel for body weights of 50kg to 88kg. Please find a link below to this mattress.

It would be the Fusion 6 mattress for user 1, which will again offer a medium feel at their current body weight, this particular mattress offers a firm feel for body weights 82kg to 101kg, anyone above these body weights, will get a medium feel. Please find a link to this mattress below.

None of our pocket sprung mattresses are suitable for electric beds, those mattresses need to be made by a specialist company, so the springs are able to move, when the electric bed function is used.

None of the Hybrid range, or the other latex models, are suitable, as they have a separate topper that is not attached in anyway to the mattress, so these will just move about constantly on top of the core mattress, when the electric bed facility is used.

Kind Regards Gary
