I am 11 st. 5. and my husband over 18st. Our current pocket sprung/memory foam mattress is crumbling and causing back pain. The memory foam has made sleeping in summer very uncomfortable due to the heat retained in mattress. We have looked at the above beds and would appreciate your advice as to which may suit us best. We live in a small cottage and the beds/mattresses should get up the stairs ok, but the big square headboards will not and we will need to have the old type half the size with 2 wooden struts, I hope this is possible. I also note that you recommend mattress toppers but am worried that these will heat up too much in summer. We look forward to hearing from you.
