I am a man, weight 10 stone, height 5feet 7inches. I start to sleep on my side and suffer from coldness in bed, probably due to poor circulation.
My wife weighs 7 stone 8 pounds, height 5 foot 3inches. She starts to sleep on her side and suffers from back pain on occasions
We are not sure about the pros and cons of latex and foam. We tend to prefer natural fibres against man made fibres. Could you please advise on the differences
We also prefer pocket springs to prevent disturbance on either side of the bed
Which mattress should I buy?
What kind of divan do you recommend?

Hi Edward

Thanks for your question.

Solid foam and solid latex mattresses can be very good for anyone who suffers from back pain, as they mould to your body shape, and take away the pressure from aching joints. They are also extremely dead in feeling so only where you lie does the mattress move.

At both your lighter body weights i would recommend the Hybrid 4 or Fusion 3 models in those ranges offering you both a medium support feel. The Hybrid and Fusion range of mattresses give their optimum feel on a solid top divan.

The Artisan range are the models with natural fibres and pocket springs. The models with medium feel upholstery layers are the Artisan 1500, Artisan tailored Pocket, Artisan Naturals and Artisan Bespoke 004.

The mattress with the softest upholstery is the Artisan Luxury. All the Artisan mattresses give their true feel on a sprung divan base.

If you Require any further assistance please call the office on 0161 437 4419.

Regards Gary
