We don't construct memory foam ourselves as all the feedback we receive is that they are far too hot. This follows because memory foam relies on heat retention in order to adapt to your body.

 

Similarly, with most retailers they don't disclose how they construct so we in turn struggle to draw any comparisons or offer any comparative advice.

 

We have 2 pocket sprung mattresses constructed with foam or latex; These are our Origins Pocket Reflex 1000 or Origins Pocket Latex 1500.

 

The Reflex 1000 has a medium spring tension as standard with an in-built Reflex Foam top layer. This has a firm top layer but we get a lot of feedback that it's very comfortable at the same time.

The Pocket Latex 1500 again has that medium spring tension as standard but this time has an in-built latex top layer giving this mattress the firmest feel within our Origins range.
