A customer asked

Thank you for your very informative website.
My husband would prefer a pocket sprung mattress, but I am open to trying one from your contemporary range. Would a compromise be a pocket sprung mattress with a latex topper?
When you detail the cool blue and laygel do not retain heat like a memory foam, do they regulate the body temperature or reduce the amount of heat I may feel in a pocket sprung mattress?
Have you seen the 'Eve' Latex mattress. It does a very good job of marketing itself. I don't know enough about contemporary mattresses to differentiate between that and what you offer?
Many thanks

Hi Karen,

The Cool Blue and Laygel mattresses actually disperse any heat generated rather than actually regulating it. The Eve mattress comes in one tension and they suggest that one size fits all in terms of the overall feel of the mattress. How can this be true when the primary considerations when choosing a mattress should be body weight(s) and preferred feel.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

The specific information available in respect of the Eve are limited, which makes any form of comparison impossible. In order to obtain specific advice as to which of our products (pocket sprung, latex or hybrid foam) is most suitable for you

If you have any further questions please call our office.

Kind regards.
