Hi there, we currently have a Sealy posturpedic firm 1400 springs with a built in memory top. After three months we have agonising backache. This is the 5th mattress in 5 years. We have spoken to a guy in America and realised that it is the memory foam which is the common thread throughout but we persisted with it due to my partners pressure points on her hips. At the moment we have limited funds and the guy from the states advised us to turn over the Sealy and buy a 2" Talalay latex topper. Would you please advise us what is best from your website? I like a firm mattress but a supportive surface for my back. My partner likes it softer than me (not too soft as my back aches otherwise and hers does too - memory foam does not support us!). she has pressure points on her hips too so she needs sonething to support her. I am 38 and she is 46. We both weigh 14 1/2 stone and the bed is superking. We really don't want to buy another mattress (at the min and when we do we think it will be 100% Natural Latex) but add something to the overturned Sealy firm. Our base is a hard base and is brand new too. Thanks Lisa - please no memory foam!
