Finding the perfect set-up can be challenging when you both have different comfort preferences. Some brands do manufacture single, large-size covers containing two independent foam inserts side-by-side—one soft and one firm—allowing two people to share one unified topper without compromising. However, this option may change the overall feel for your wife who currently likes the mattress.

While we don't offer that specific configuration, you could add a single-size mattress topper to your half of the mattress. Although this will make your side of the mattress slightly higher than your wife's, it is the perfect solution when one person prefers a firmer level of comfort to the other. A mattress topper provides an additional comfort layer to make a mattress feel softer and helps prolong its lifespan by taking the impact of movement instead of the upholstery layers. The thickness and type of topper required will depend on the overall feel you are looking to achieve:
