With your particular body weights you ought to be looking for a split tension mattress, firm for you and medium for your husband. Such mattresses are only available in our Artisan range in a king size and above in either a one piece mattress or a zip and link set. Zip and links are used primarily where access to the bedroom is an issue in the case of a one piece mattress or the people using the mattress find a one piece too heavy to turn and rotate regularly. A good quality pocket sprung mattress will provide some relief from disturbance of one party when the other moves and a zip and link set will more than likely eliminate this altogether.

Please view the Artisan Naturals, Artisan Bespoke 004 and the Artisan Bespoke, all of which contain natural upholstery and can have the spring tension selected to suit as described above. The Naturals and the 004 will provide the same overall medium feel in the upholstery layers irrespective of the spring tension selected. The Bespoke on the other hand, has the most upholstery in the range, however, this will provide a slightly firmer feel in the sleep surface.
