What is the Spring count in both Double and Kingsize mattresses
What are the spring count on double and king size? as it doesn't actually specify the spring count on both sizes.
Hi J,
Thank you for your question.
In order for me to fully answer your question, I need to know the mattresses that you are looking at as our mattresses have differing amounts of springs in each of them.
However, most bed manufacturers including ourselves, base their springs-through-mattress/" class="" >spring count on a kingsize mattress as there are only so many springs that you can have in a kingsize. Even when a single mattress is described as having 1000 springs for example, it won’t, it will have proportionately less. A Superking mattress will have proportionately more. Some retailers have started to give the exact count of a particular size which throws a fly into the ointment when you are doing like for like comparisons. Always be aware of the count in a king sized mattress and you just can’t go wrong. The least number of pocket springs you can get in a mattress is 600.
It might be of benefit to you, to telephone our office on 0161 437 4419 and speak to one of our friendly team who will be able to provide you with further information and advice on our products.
Kind regards Julie
