What is the thinnest/most shallow pocket sprung mattress?

We need a zip and link pocket sprung mattress 5ft X 6ft .6ins to fit on our sprung King size divan base .
I have bought a thick memory foam topper so the mattress needs to be quite thin or we won't be able to climb up into bed!
(The problem is that I ditched our last mattress in favour of an open sprung mattress and it's like a trampoline!)
We are both in our 80's full of aches and pains and have had a stairlift fitted so not much room to get upstairs with a full size mattress?.......

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for your question.

All of our mattresses have an overall depth of 11-12 inches and whilst I appreciate the height issue for you, the problem is that if a pocket spring mattress is shallow, it will be one sided, reducing it's life span, or if 2 sided means that there isn't much upholstery either side.

It may be that if you select the right product, you may not need to use the topper that you have.

Our Hybrid Foam and Fusion latex ranges have a separate topper, which would take the place of your memory foam topper.

In order for us to fully advise you as to the best options from our ranges, we would need to know your body weights, preferred feel and budget.

Please call our office on 0161 437 4419.with these details and we will provide more specific advice.

Kind Regards Gary
