Your aches and pains may be being caused by your current mattress if it is the wrong spring tension for you. With your particular body weights, I would suggest that you opt for a soft spring tension and a medium for your husband. Zip and link mattress sets are only available in king size and above and split tension such as I have suggested are available in our Artisan range.

This is a bed that can be either be one big bed or two single beds by means of linking bars on the base and zippers on the mattresses to enable it to be separated when and if you need them to be. They can also be crafted with a different spring tension on each side; great for differently weighted sleepers.

Please view the Artisan Naturals, Artisan Bespoke 004 and the Artisan Bespoke 003  All of these models can be made with the suggested split tension. The Artisan Naturals and Artisan Bespoke 004 both have a medium top layer meaning that the mattress is neither too soft nor too firm.  The Artisan Bespoke 003 has more sumptuous top layers and is slightly softer than the other two mattresses.
