Thank you placing your question regarding the Vi Spring Tiara.
 
We have two mattresses which have a similar feel to the Vi Spring Tiara which are our Artisan Bespoke 003 which is very very similar in feel and our Artisan Bespoke 002 which again has the same two layers of pocket springs but the top comfort layers are slightly firmer in feel to that of the Tiara.   As you found the Vi Spring Tiara slightly too soft in the comfort layers, my recommendation would be to go with our Artisan Bespoke 002.   This mattress contains 100% natural fillings and has two layers of pocket springs.

We do agree that at your body weight of 10.5st, the correct spring tension would be a medium spring which is then going to give you good support.   
 
Our higher end Artisan models such as the Artisan Bespoke 002/003 use Vanadium in our calico pocket springs. Vanadium is often found in metal alloys and top end tools to give strength and durability against corrosion. It is used within our springs to ensure they are of the highest quality giving an enhanced lifespan and longevity. Most manufacturers couldn’t tell you what is in their spring wire, you will probably just get shrugged shoulders, but here at John Ryan, we can share with you the exact composition of our calico vanadium pocket springs.
