Would a zip and link mattress stop motion disturbance?
Hi, my husband is a very light sleeper and is easily woken by me moving or getting up in the night. It seems to be the movement of the mattress even though we have a high no. pocket sprung mattress. When we sleep in hotels with twins pushed together we both sleep great. We don't have room for a superking/two singles, but I have recently found out about 2'6" zipped matresses to make a king size (we already have a king size). Would this reduce movement or would the fact that they are zipped together still result in disruption when the other moves? Many thanks, Amy
Hi Amy,
Thank you for your enquiry. The best way to eliminate motion disturbance is with a zip and link mattress, which are available is both our Origins and Artisan pocket sprung ranges in king size and above. These mattresses are also ideal when the difference between partners body weights would require two different spring tensions or when there may be access issues getting the mattress to the room of your choice.
Choosing which model would be most suitable depends on your preferences in comfort, your sleeping habits and budget. If you would like to discuss your individual needs please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419 and speak to one of our advisors.
Kind Regards
Michaela
