The medium option is provided by the medium density 1400GSM polyester layer directly above the spring unit. If you want a firmer feel then the firm option uses a firmer 1400GSM polyester pad to firm up the mattress.

The upholstery layers are the very top comfort layers and give different degrees of firmness alongside the spring unit which should be chosen based on your weight.
This mattress gives both support and comfort from the 100% natural Pashmina 250GSM breathable top layer and supporting 1400 GSM rebound polycotton. This model uses a medium or firm polyester pad (dependant on the comfort level you choose) as the mattress insulator before 1000 1.4 gauge pocket springs. Providing both comfort and luxury at a competitive price point.
The top comfort layer of this mattress uses one of the most expensive natural fibres, Pashmina for a dream-like-float sensation in the top layer. This 100% natural fibre layer adds breathability and the luxury you would expect from a John Ryan mattress.
The use of Rebound Poly-Cotton (RPC) and polyester provides this model with a medium or firm feel with a huge amount of upholstery for both comfort and support. This combination contributes greatly towards the overall feel and longevity of the mattress providing loft & resilience.
