looking for a new double mattress for a slatted bed base
I am 4ft 10 and 9stone
bed often shared by my 3yr old who is 2stone
limited budget
have a bad back so nothing too soft and I dont mind spring with a memory foam top but not a memory foam mattress as i already have one and its sagges to one side

With your particular body weight we would suggest a medium tension mattress. Please view the Origins Pocket 1500, which has a standard medium tension spring unit with man-made upholstery providing an overall medium feel. We do not make nor recommend pillow top mattresses for the reasons detailed in this article. Whilst this mattress will be ok for occasional use by your 3 year old, we would not recommend permanent or regular use.
