Hello,We are looking for good latex mattress and basically choosing from two- yours Fusion 5 and Yanis Premium Latex Mattress. On theirs website we found such quite interesting statement:"Do not let children to jump on the mattress, it may damage it and will invalidate your guarantee. The mattress is designed for sleeping on and sitting on the edge can cause damage and place undue stress on this area of the mattress"Does your mattresses have same precautions? Because we have 2 small kids so it looks quite unreasonable for us... And NOT sitting on edge...And last question- how you would compare these two mattresses? Thanks for your answer!

Hi Saulius,

Thank you for your enquiry. All mattresses, including latex, should be treated with proper care and consideration. We would not recommend allowing children of any age to jump up and down on a mattress, likewise, although our pocket sprung mattresses have firmer springs around the edge to avoid the roll off effect, we do not recommend regularly sitting or resting for long periods on the edges.

As far as comparing the two products is concerned, the Fusion 5 is available in 70kg density only providing a medium feel and comes with a sealed tape edged cover not a removable zipped cover. Our latex mattresses may be suitable for you and your partner, although we are unable to confirm that the Fusion 5 is the most appropriate without details of your body weights and preferred feel.

We hope that the above information is of assistance to you, but if you require any further advice or guidance, please call our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind regards Julie
