I am looking to buy a new mattress and divan base for my husband and myself. I am 5ft 4in and weigh 7.5 stone. My husband is 5ft 5in and weighs 9.5 stone. Our current mattress is a Sealy Posturepedic Ultra Venice. We have always found this mattress satisfactory in that it has never caused us any aches or pains. However, we would both like a softer feel. More of a feeling of sinking into luxurious comfort! But not so soft that we feel unsupported. We want a pocket sprung unit base and would like the mattress to contain mainly (if not wholly) natural fibres (and definitely no memory foam) so we would be looking at your Artisan range. I'm not sure which spring tension and upholstery comfort combination would give us what we are looking for. We do not have an absolute budget limit. We want good value but are prepared to pay what it takes to get the right bed.
