Our bed isn’t a standard size. I’m struggling to find a mattress to fit

Hi Janey,

Thank you for your question. We can make our Artisan range to any size due to the handmade spring units used within these mattresses. There is an additional 10% per 6-inch increment of change on the cost of the closest standard size. The size that you require, 175 cm wide, would be an additional 20% on the cost of a standard kingsize mattress or 10% on the cost of a standard super kingsize, whichever is cheaper. Both the kingsize and super kingsize measure 198 cm in length. We would need to know what length you require to determine the correct additional costs. As a bespoke item, it would not be covered under our 60-day love it or return it guarantee, which means that if it is not suitable, you can not send it back for a refund or exchange.

Mattress Size Dimensions
Small Single 2’ 6” x 6’3” (80cm x 190cm)
Single 3′ x 6’3″ (90cm x 190cm)
Small Double 4″ x 6’3 (120cm x 190cm)
Double 4’6″ x 6’3″ (135cm x 190cm)
Continental Double 4’7” x 6’6” (140cm x 200cm)
King 5′ x 6’6″ (150cm x 200cm)
Continental King 5’3″ x 6’6″ (160cm x 200cm)
Extra King 6’0 x 6’3 (182cm x 190cm)
Super King 6′ x 6’6″ (180cm x 200cm)

When considering a new mattress, you need to determine which spring tension will provide you with the correct level of support and which comfort layers would be the most suitable. You should also look at the mattress your body has become used to, what you don't like about it and what you did like when you first got it.

As pocket springs are designed with weight tolerances, the tension of the springs is dictated by your height and body weight. The upholstery layers on top of the springs determine how the mattress feels.  Your sleep positions and comfort preferences will dictate which level of comfort would be the most suitable. For example, we do not recommend firm upholstery layers for side sleepers as this can cause pressure pains in the shoulders, hips and knees. Likewise, if the upholstery is too soft for a front or back sleeper, this can cause lower back pain.

I hope this helps and if you would like any further information or would like to discuss your individual needs, please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards

Michaela
