Drawer positioning on a divan single base

Hi Ryan,

Thank you for your enquiry relating to drawers for a single divan base—this is a question which we do get asked about a lot.

When opting for two drawers on a single divan base, you will just need to indicate which side you want both drawers to be on.   If you stand at the foot end of the bed looking towards the headboard end, which side would you like both drawers.

With our divan bases, you can opt for one small drawer and one full drawer to accommodate bedside tables or have two full drawers as shown within the image below:

We make two types of divan bases, one is a pocket sprung base and one is a contemporary platform divan base.    A pocket sprung base will cushion a mattress and soften the internal support slightly whereas a platform base will firm the internal support up slightly.   We explain about the difference bases within the article here

Divan bases remain the most popular bed base in the UK and come in a wide range of fabric colours and finishes. They are built specifically to carry the weight of a mattress and give an even, consistent sleeping surface.

We also make headboards which can be made in the same fabric colour as the base so that they match and enhance your bedroom. Headboards add the perfect finishing touch to your mattress and base, offering both style and functionality. With a wide variety of styles, fabrics, and finishes now available, finding the right look for your bedroom is easier than ever.
