Softer upholstery

We’ve written about how effectively Natural plant fibres are in high-end mattress construction as they are not only incredibly durable but lightweight. The Artisan Sublime is the first in our range to use these Natural fibres.

The insulator layer is made up of 2200GSM of Coir & Organic Plant Flax. Which acts as a resilient cushioning layer between the spring unit and the 3200GSM of additional luxury Natural Fibres above.

The twin layer of vanadium coated calico pocket springs provides a far more progressive support unit than a single tier can. Giving more flexibility to the sleep support unit.

A layer of 1200GSM Horsehair provides additional rebound before the incredibly high wicking 1200GSM of Alpaca fibre provides a snug feel to the comfort layer. This is then topped off with ultra-soft high wicking 800GSM Natural Bamboo fibre giving that exquisite medium feel in the top layer.

This model has an overall true medium feel in the upholstery layers and medium support. It comes in variable spring tensions which are tailored to your weight. We have carefully created this mattress to provide the ultimate in breathable natural layers topped off with a medium comfort layer. Allowing you to sink ever so slightly further into the Bamboo Comfort Layers before being supported by a twin spring set. The Coir & Organic Flax acts as a highly breathable insulating layer between the spring units. We are the first retailer to feature this Organic layer in a mattress.

Our team will be able to guide you to the right product for you and your budget. We grade the products in our warehouse and the grading is decided based on the condition of the product upon return. All mattresses are Grade B or C. At this stage we cannot give you the history of each product or the very specifics of where any marks may be located so if this is important for you to know then a clearance bed may not be for you and you can choose your mattress in the normal way. We do however guarantee that the condition will be no worse than described below and in most cases is actually better!
