Can you advise on Dreams memory foam mattress?

Hi, I’ve been to dreams to try out various beds, and I think I’m really tempted by a memory foam mattress as I love that slow sink feeling. I’m 12 stone and have been tempted by their heavley eden. I googled it as I know its an expensive mattress and that’s when I found your site. http://www.dreams.co.uk/mattresses/memory-foam-mattresses/heavenly-eden-mattress I’m now even more confused as it seems really expensive, even though I quite liked it. Can you give me your honest advice on this bed please?

Hi Amanda.

Thanks for your question.

Looking at the specifications for the dreams heavenly Eden mattress it does seem expensive given is memory foam.

The specs are as follows;

Specifications: – 5 zone Therapur memory foam mattress – 6cm super soft top layer – Purotex treatment – Comfort grade 4 – Medium – Made in the UK There are no more details on either the density or grade of memory foam.

We know there’s just 6cm of memory foam.

if you have a budget of £1000 we would recommend you spend this money more wisely on a solid core latex mattress such as our Fusion range, which is far more advanced than memory foam. Our Fusion range is a range of 100% Natural Latex; Fully breathable and great for pressure relief. We would need to know body weights and sleeping patterns in order to discuss suitable models within this range.

There’s an abundance of benefits to latex when compared to synthetic memory foam.

You can read these in or latex topic posts.

That and a solid core natural latex mattress is completely turntable compared to the heavenly Eden which is one sided.

I hope this has answered your questions fully but if you do have any further queries please don’t hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419. We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm.

Kind Regards, Lee.
