Found you through Money Saving Expert. Which mattress?

Hi Guys, Came across you via MSE…We have mattress issues in my house and I am hoping you can assist me in making up my mind. My daughter is 12 and has been sleeping on a very shabby single spring mattress for far too long (I am ashamed to admit the price I paid for it on ebay but it was meant to be a short term affair!). She is long overdue an upgrade and I am thinking of your Sequence Pocket Suspension single as I want her to have a lush experience and I am happy to spend a decent amount as she is, I am sure, going to be staying in a single bed until she leaves home!

She has one of those swiss style cabin bed in which the second bed slides out like a drawer… .

Hi M and R.

Thank you for your enquiry on our website.  Although this mattress is no longer available I do think that the Sequence PS would have been on the firm side for your daughter because of all the upholstery contained and a more than adequate spring unit it was intended to be more suitable for bodyweights in excess of 12 st.

As your daughter’s bodyweight is just 6 st or thereabouts, ideally the Origins Comfort 1000 will be more suitable for her.  We recommend this mattress for children and young people and they require a firmer support in the springs, whilst they are still growing and the softer upholstery for comfort.  But be aware of the overall height of this particular mattress is 12 inches ( it is very well upholstered).

Origins Comfort 1000
