Mattress brands other than Vi-Spring

Thank you for your enquiry on our website.  £2000 is a lot of money to spend on a mattress but with this budget, your choice really does become simpler – with caveats. On the pyramid of best mattress manufacturers, Vi-Spring is nearer the top than many others – no question. As with all manufacturers they too have a bottom of the range and a top of the range. Consider that their top of range incorporates The Signatory and Magnificence, both retailing close to the ten thousand mark, will put into perspective what level your two thousand pounds will be placed.

In our opinion, Furniture Village has a good array of the bulk of all Vi-Spring (core range) mattresses. Once you have tried these it does give you quite a good benchmark on the difference between a good mattress and a not so good mattress. Once you have found a mattress you like, it becomes easy peasy to find a lower priced alternative, but also you may find that the one you like actually fits your budget. The other good thing with Vi-Spring is that their site does inform you of the general make up (specification) of their products.  All of our mattresses, including the Artisan range that are comparable with some of the Vi-Spring range, have a detailed breakdown of exactly what and the amount (GSM – grams per square meter) of fillings we use to construct each model on their respective description pages. When you are spending this amount of money on something you really do need to know where your money is going.

Vi-Spring is the only manufacturer who uses calico springs/”>pocket springs in their entire product range and this sole usage reflects the provenance and quality of this particular spring type.
