I unfortunately suffer with menopausal night sweats and have recently purchased a 1000 pocket memory foam mattress with a gel tech covering, it doesn't appear to regulate my body heat therefore making the sweats worse, I have been advised to look into an iGel type, can you give some advice on the best type of product for my needs, my husband also suffers with a bad back so we need something that would help both

Hi Debbie,

Many thanks for your enquiry.

We would never recommend a memory foam product for someone who suffers from night sweats because of the heat retaining qualities of memory foam. It is not possible for us to provide specific advice as to the suitability or performance of products not made by ourselves. In addition, while you have provided details of the problems you encounter, you have not provided details of your body weights, preferred feel and budget, making it difficult for us to make a specific recommendation from our ranges.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

Having said that, if you are looking for a latex or hybrid foam mattress, unfortunately, we are not currently producing our Fusion and Hybrid ranges due to sourcing difficulties but you may find some on our outlet and it may be worth viewing these and then calling our office on 0161 437 4419 to obtain more detailed advice as to suitability. Both these ranges are not likely to make you hot during the night.

Kind Regards.
