I would recommend you take a look at the Fusion 3 100% Natural Latex mattress, which will give you both a medium support level but with the added benefit of the moulding sensation that latex offers taking away the pressure from aching joints. If you’re struggling with joint pain latex can be ideal as it immediately conforms to any pressure applied to it. Unlike memory foam which is heat retentive and slow to react Latex is very progressive. It also limits transference and movement between sleepers. As does a Zip and Link traditional mattress which maybe suitable for you both if one if more restless than the other.

If you wanted a pocket spring mattress, we would look at the Artisan Luxury model which has the softest top upholstery layers we create in a mattress, and I would recommend a medium tension spring in this model to give you both the correct support.
